My signature massage is a beautiful blend of healing modalities. A holistic wellness-infused multi-disciplinary massage that meets you where you are, it can include energy work, compassionate touch, cranio-sacral and intuitive healing-focused services.
Clinical integrative massage may increase strength and flexibility while also addressing injuries and chronic pain, allowing the body to heal quickly and naturally. I offer more than just a feel-good massage, I gift you with a moment in your day to infuse your body with healing touch that goes deeper than a traditional massage.
Clinical integration styles of massage differ from Swedish or relaxation massage because they focus on releasing muscle spasms and strengthening or stretching specific muscles affected by an injury. Clinical integrative massage uses more specific manipulation of the muscle and surrounding connective tissue and has the capacity to support other systems in the body.
Specific goals for Clinical Integrative Massage include:
- Reduce pain
- Release muscle tightness
- Repair injured tissues, muscles, tendons, ligaments
- Free adhesions
- Loosen scar tissue
- Relieve nerve compression
- Increase flexibility and range of motion
Therapeutic massage therapy has been associated with decreased swelling, increased joint mobility, reduced muscle spasms, less tension and improved circulation. Massage has also been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and pain, improve levels of alertness, enhance sleep patterns and release endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers.
I recommend Nileen without hesitation.
Nileen has been my massage therapist since the early 2000s. I used to go infrequently but starting in 2006 I have been seeing her every 2 weeks (except when I am away from home). Prior to this and while I have been away from home (vacation, snow bird, etc) I have had the occasional massage by others. While not a huge body of experience, I can say I have received massages from 8-12 other massage therapists. In my opinion Nileen is the best I have ever experienced. I have, and would not hesitate in the future, to highly recommend her for anyone seeking a massage therapist.

I highly recommend Nileen’s attentive, knowledgeable, professional services.
For a massage that addresses physical injuries and their effects—restricted movement, referred pain, muscle knots and bodily misalignment—Nileen is simply the best. I’ve had many holistic treatments that have eased symptoms or promoted relaxation, but working with Nileen ensures that the issues causing the problem are addressed, so that healing can really happen. When healing happens, stress reduction is sure to follow! I highly recommend Nileen’s attentive, knowledgeable and professional services.

Nileen resolved a chronic pain issue for me that no other practitioner was able to address.
We often think a massage is just a massage, a relaxing hour that makes us feel better. But I'll tell you what - a massage from Nileen is an entirely different experience. Words don't do it justice - I mean, it changed my body - it changed the course of my chronic pain permanently. She focused on the pain site and the related areas that allowed my body to soften into proper alignment so the muscles could adjust and the inflammation resolved itself.

The benefits of massage therapy are well documented and Nileen is the best of the best when it comes to massage therapists.
Nileen has a caring approach; she listens to my concerns and answers my questions in a knowledgeable and informed way. She provides a soothing environment and calming style that puts me completely at ease.
I consider myself very fortunate to have been a monthly client of hers for the past seven years and would not even entertain the notion of going to anyone else!

Regular massage definitely helped me cope and recover quicker than I had hoped.
I have been receiving massages every other week for the last few years. When I stay consistent with my massages I sleep better, carry less stress in my shoulders and overall feel healthier and happier. Two years ago, I broke my knee cap and was unable to bend that knee for 6 weeks. Walking was awkward, sitting was painful and I had a hard time getting comfortable to sleep. While the muscles in the injured leg stiffened up, other muscles got incredibly sore from having to compensate. Massage helped relax the overused muscles and when I was finally able to remove the cast it helped me regain degrees of motion quicker than I anticipated. While the experience was not something I’d like to repeat, regular massage definitely helped me cope and recover quicker than I had hoped.

I felt as if she could see through my body and her hands knew exactly where the painful areas presented themselves.
Between 1968 and 2012 I sporadically had massages with multiple therapists. They were all good. After my first joint replacement in 2012, I began 30-minute weekly massages with Nileen. Weekly sessions continued for 4 years until 2016 when I opted for 1-hour massages twice a month. Nileen’s expertise, professionalism and warm, caring approach have provided me with knowledge and a greater understanding of my body, relief for areas of my body that are impacted by disease and disorders, tools for managing symptoms, and, very importantly, hopefulness for the future.
